We do not recommend undergoing a treatment if the area is tanned. Generally, the skin becomes more vulnerable to hypo (lightening) or hyper (darkening) pigmentation with sun/UV exposure. This skin vulnerability is amplified if treating certain tattoo colours, pigmented lesions, vascular lesions or skin rejuvenation.
